In support of social distancing and for the safety of our guests, volunteers and staff, the Board of Directors of the Cape Coral Historical Society has decided to close the Museum from March 17, 2020 through April 12, 2020. We will reopen to the public on Wednesday, April 15, 2020.

50th Anniversary Celebration
The year 2020 holds a special significance for the City of Cape Coral – 50 years since incorporation on August 18, 1970. Our City’s 50th Anniversary is a time to honor its unique history, diverse residents, and those who laid the foundation for incorporation. Throughout the year, the Cape Coral Historical Society and Museum, along with the City of Cape Coral, will host several events to help highlight these early visionaries. The year will be capped off with a special 50th Anniversary fireworks presentation at Coconut Fest in November 2020.
Our Golden Anniversary began with our Jubilee Celebration on January 24, 2020 at the Cape Coral Yacht Club.
The following day, on January 25, 2020, we hosted Jammin' in Cultural Park, our annual music festival.
