In support of social distancing and for the safety of our guests, volunteers and staff, the Board of Directors of the Cape Coral Historical Society has decided to close the Museum from March 17, 2020 through April 12, 2020.  We will reopen to the public on Wednesday, April 15, 2020.

Rain Barrel Workshop
Gardening Workshops

Gardening workshops will be held the 3rd Tuesday of the month from January through April, 2020. 
The cost varies per workshop.
  • February 18, 2020 - Rose Garden Seminar, 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.  FREE to members, $5 for non-members
  • **March 17, 2020 - Rain Barrel Workshop, 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.  $10 members, $15 for non-members
    • **This event has been postponed due to Covid-19 museum closure.  Please watch this space for rescheduling details.
  • April 21, 2020 - Butterfly Gardening Workshop, 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.  FREE to members, $5 non-members
Author Book Signings
  • February 25, 2020, 5:00 - 7:00pm - Meet Carol Freeman, author of two cozy mysteries based in Cape Coral, "The Cape Coral Caper" and "The Cape Coral Casanova". She will be joined by her husband and "partner in crime" Bill.  They will present some hilarious back stories, talk about the books and answer any questions. She will even share a sneak peak of book 3 in the series.
