History in the Making
View fascinating exhibits, experience the way it was “back in the day”, and take part in special programs throughout the year at the Cape Coral Historical Museum.
Established by Cape Coral Historical Society, the museum is dedicated to collecting and preserving the history of this great city.
It’s interesting to note the facility that houses the main part of the museum, the Rosen Building, was originally the Cape Coral Country Club Pro Shop and Snack Bar. In 1977, it was moved to Four Freedoms Park and used as a multi-functional facility.
In 1983, the historical Society moved the building to its current location in Cultural Park for the establishment of the museum.
Since that time, two additional buildings have been added.
